two door cinema club

it’s mardi gras today. i’m no longer a practicing catholic but i do like certain practices so i’ll try to give up something for lent. the irish electropop/indie rock band in the video is not related to this, they’re just a new discovery. and i bought tickets to their show at bowery ballroom in may. for $12 per ticket, amazing! who wants to come with?

sartorial rambling

i’ve been somewhat obsessed with oxfords/brogues and tuxedos as of late. something about menswear that’s very sexy on a woman.

sad gray

apparently, gray is the color most chosen by depressed people to express their mood while yellow is most commonly chosen by happy people.
no big surprise there but i happen to own a lot to gray and yellow clothing. does this mean i’m moody?

mustache jewelry

i haven’t been able to concentrate at work lately. i’m doing all sorts of other things like scouring the internet for a bracelet for my sister, adding stuff to my craft inspiration notebook, posting nonsense crap on my blog, and surveying my friends for life altering decisions.

such as this – necklace or ring?

the result? necklace 5 : ring 1. [etsy/melaniefavreau]

polar bear hoodie

i really want one of these!

is that weird? too bad/it’s a good thing it’s $175. [rocketworld]
